Game modesĪlthough Perish can be played solo, the title has been prepared for cooperative play in the company of three people. Fortunately, nothing prevents us from using deposits and thus securing the accumulated goods. This is because after death on the battlefield we lose all the riches we have gained. Regardless of how powerful we are, it is necessary to constantly be on guard during gameplay. Our combat potential is also enhanced by crowns and rings, which provide us with various additional perks. With time, more and more sophisticated tools of murder get into our hands - we're talking about both white weapons (such as axes and javelins) and firearms (that is, machine guns, shotguns and revolvers). We can use the gained valuables to purchase more powerful equipment or improve the one we already have. As we eliminate hosts of opponents, however, we gain danake, the local currency. We start the game equipped only with a bristling sword. We're talking about ruined temples, volcanic cliffs or huge forges, as well as gigantic labyrinths and lakes filled with liquid gold. We fight dynamic clashes in various corners of Purgatory. In addition to minor adversaries occurring in bulk, much more powerful bosses stand in our way. The gameplay consists mainly of eliminating hordes of enemies, inspired by creatures from Greek and Roman myths. In Perish, the action is observed from a first-person perspective (FPP). During the course of the game, we play the role of an amyetri, a tormented soul who initiates the bloody Orpheus Rite, trying to win his way to Elysium. It is a dark, gloomy land, so to speak, suspended between the world of the living and the paradise known as Elysium. Perish takes us on a journey to a place called Purgatory (English: Purgatory). An independent British studio ITEM42 is behind the development of this production, while its release was handled by HandyGames. Perish is a dynamic FPS developed primarily with multiplayer play in mind.
